About the Office

What the Provincial Engineer does under the law

The Provincial Engineer's Office (PEO) is the engineering and public works office of the Province of Bukidnon. Under the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act No. 7160), the Provincial Engineer plans, designs, supervises and maintains the infrastructure of the province, such as provincial roads, bridges and buildings, and gives technical help to the cities and municipalities.

The PEO does not handle every road or building in Bukidnon. Building permits, local streets and barangay roads belong to your city or municipality, and national roads belong to the DPWH.

What to Bring

  • A written letter for formal requests, such as technical assistance
